ABOUT KOLYMBITHRES

Kolymbithres Beach is the best seaside in Paros. Very well known for its shallow waters, the sandy depth and its unique rock formations.

The sea in Kolymbithres is calm and has crystal clear water. The wind is usually ideal for sailing lessons of all levels.

Other activities in Kolymbithres are offered by WaterSkiZone, including other watersports, SUPs and canoe rental. Sunbeds and restaurants with tasty food and beverages are located close to us.

Mycenaean Acropolis from the last phase of the Bronze Age in Ancient Greece (1600-1100 BC) is located right behind our premises. A 20 minute walk will take you there, on top of a rocky hill called “Koukounaries”. Refugees populated this Acropolis, finally destroyed by earthquake around 1200 BC.

Monastiri Beach, 2 km away from our premises is located in a small bay. Relax under the stunning scenery of its rocky hills. It is worth visiting this beachside, activities like hiking and watersports are very popular here. Walk to the picturesque monastery of Agios Ioannis or towards Korakas cape with the lighthouse, the northest point of Paros island.
Paros Park is also located here, with lots of cultural events and a permanent historic exhibition “The Island of Paros through the Russian cartography 1770-1774”.
